The Xm Fitness Gold Series trap bar is distinguished by its unique geometry, which significantly impacts how your body handles the load and the types of exercises it is best suited for. It also improves on some traditional exercises.
The bar is diamond-shaped, with one side missing, allowing you to stand inside and hold the handles on the sides. This allows for a more comfortable and natural hand position. Additionally, the weight is positioned around your body, making it ideal for shrugs.
The Trap Bar is an excellent choice for deadlifts because it simplifies the teaching process by having two different grip heights. Additionally, it helps keep the torso more upright, reducing stress on the spine. Standing up shifts the emphasis away from the posterior chain and focuses instead on the quadriceps, making it more effective for jump training.
