The Beastie Series expands the RumbleRoller experience to offer more intense, versatile, portable, and affordable massage options. The Beastie is an aggressive massage ball that is the heart of this series.

The Beasties series products aren't a replacement for the RumbleRoller, but they have a more specific purpose. Use them to dig deeper into a problem area or to work on smaller muscles, such as those in the forearms and calves, in more detail.

Original or X-Firm?

The Beastie is available in two versions – Original (clear), which features firm but flexible bumps, and X-Firm (green), which is extremely firm. The Beastie ball detaches from the Beastie base and can be used with or without the base. The Beastie ball can also be used with other accessories like the Beastie hook.

Which one is best for you depends on both your sensitivity to pain and your method of use. For example, if you're using the Beastie on the floor and putting your full weight on it, we recommend the original version. If you're using the Beastie against a wall, you'll be applying much less force and will likely respond better to the X-Firm. If you plan to work your entire body and experiment with different techniques, you may want to own both versions.

Using the removable base

• The removable base is more than just a place to park your Beastie when you're done using it. It's a fundamental part of the patent-pending Beastie system and offers the following distinct advantages:
• Elevation: The base elevates the Beastie an additional 1/2" above the surface, to better access hard-to-reach areas of your body.
• Intensification: The Base orients the Beastie so that one of its bumps is firmly held in a vertical position. This ensures maximum muscle penetration.
• Stabilization: The Base prevents the Beastie from rolling. This facilitates more controlled massage techniques and also allows you to work from the Beastie's side to generate higher shear forces in the muscle tissue.
• Retention: The base retains the Beastie so it can be used more easily in above-ground applications.
• Mounting: In addition to being a standalone mount, the base serves as an adapter to removably mount the Beastie either to a wall or to the Beastie Wall System.
