YORK® 6′ International Black Oxide Bar
YORK® Olympic Barbell – 1.83 m (6 ft), Black Coated Steel
YORK® international barbells made of black-coated steel feature hard chrome sleeves. This barbell offers a particularly attractive design. Its black coating ensures an excellent grip, and the steel used—manufactured in the USA—has a minimum tensile strength of 100,000 Nm.
Less flexible and more rigid, this bar is ideal for static, controlled, and slow movements such as squats, bench presses, and deadlifts. It is also perfectly suited for Olympic weightlifting training. The sleeves are secured to the bar with a nut and a spring pin. Their precise diameter of 50.2 mm (1.975 inches) allows them to accommodate Olympic plates of 50.8 mm (2 inches).
