Recommended for use on rubber or non-abrasive surface
1. Sizing : Start by placing 1 foot on the rope and standing up straight so that the handles are even on both sides. Pull the cable until it just touches the bottom of your armpit.

2. Cut the rope: There are 2 ends of the rope; one end has a fixed clasp, the other end has a removable clasp with a mini Phillips screwdriver. Loosen the screw and remove the end cap. Slide the clasps down until you are comfortable with the size of the rope. Tighten the rope and cut off the excess rope with a cable cutter. Finally, put the end cap back on the end of the rope. One thing to watch for is if the jump rope snaps in front of you. This will cause bouncing and possibly tripping over the rope. Alternatively, if it never touches the ground, the rope may be too short. To master a move like double unders, you want the rope to never touch the ground but not be too short. A recommended suggestion would be to play around with the size before cutting.

3. Maintenance: Cables tend to coil. Here are some tips to keep your strings working for years to come ; Hang the rope on a hook to let it straighten. OR you can also keep it loose in a training bag. Do not wrap it around the handles. When jumping, if you are using the correct form and the rope has been adjusted, the arc will straighten as you jump. Avoid jumping or storing the jump rope in cold weather, such as in a garage or the trunk of a car. This will make the rope stiff and can also break it when jumping.

! Avoid jumping on concrete as this can wear out the cord. Jumping on other hard surfaces such as tile can also cause undue stress to your joints and/or shin splints.
