Extension for wall-mounted pull-up bar

This add-on requires the XM Fitness Complete Pull-Up Bar, Item #3245, to function. It cannot be mounted independently.

Chin-ups are arguably the best upper-body resistance exercise. No other exercise can replace its functional value; and no, the lat pulldown isn't a suitable replacement. Not only do chin-ups strengthen the back and biceps, but the abs, chest, and grip are also worked.

A pull-up bar in a gym is also a very useful accessory, as it can also be used as an anchor point for rings, bands or a TRX.

Unfortunately, most pull-up bars don't live up to the hype. Most are bolted together from a number of parts, which suffer after hours of rocking and shaking. Most are also chrome-plated or shiny, which means they become slippery and don't hold chalk.

The XM FITNESS bar itself is bolted to the support brackets, so there is no play or movement, just a solid support that will hold any weight up to 400 kg! The chin bar can also be mounted to the ceiling for a vertical drop.

36" from the wall to provide ample seating space for even the tallest people, and is finished with a textured matte black power coat, which looks tough, stands up to abuse, and provides good grip.
