Precor UBK 885 Upright Bike w/P80 Console

The UBK 885 upright stand-alone bike features custom-designed handlebars with integrated touch heart rate for maximum comfort and an effective training experience. One-handed saddle adjustment on or off the bike, a redesigned saddle for riding comfort, and improved knee-to-pedal axis (KOPS) geometry for efficient pedaling mean a smooth and comfortable workout.

• Handlebar: A new overmolded handlebar design provides the user with three comfortable riding positions: upright, cruise and road. In the road position, the ergonomically shaped handlebar places the wrists in a natural, neutral position. The wide handlebar width provides stability and comfort across the entire forearm. The overall width of the handlebar is similar to that of indoor bikes, which is narrower than most stationary bikes. This places the user in a more ergonomic position with the forearms more directly under the shoulders. In the cruise position, the wide handlebar is more comfortable for the user's hands. Touch heart rate is integrated into both the standing and road running positions.
• Saddle: Ergonomic saddle design with comfort groove. 27cm (10.5 inches) width that quickly tapers to a narrow nose for improved riding comfort.
• Biomechanics: To achieve correct pedaling biomechanics, the seatpost and its offset from the crank are critical to promote efficient pedaling and reduce shear force on the knee. The seatpost angle is 74 degrees with a 13cm offset from the crank axle. This places the front knee directly over the ball of the foot (or pedal axle) when the pedals are in a horizontal position.
• Bearings: The entire crankset uses a hardened steel shaft with sealed, deep groove precision ball bearings designed for smooth operation and exceptional service life.
• Pedals: For double the comfort, the dual-sided pedals allow the rider to use the pedals with or without the integrated pedal strap. The extra-wide pedal comfortably fits feet of all sizes, allowing for proper pedaling with the foot directly above the user's knee.
• Frame: Two-step powder coating process applies a rust-inhibiting undercoat and aesthetic topcoat to the steel frame.
• Covers: Covers attach with minimal hardware and can be removed without removing the pedals or cranks.

• 3-Piece Crank: The 3-piece crank positively tightens, reducing the need for periodic adjustments. The 170mm crank arm accepts any standard road or mountain bike pedal.
