Cybex 626a Arc Trainer
The 626A Arc Trainer has the leg movement and all the other features of the 626A Total Body Arc Trainer. Designed to focus on the lower body, this Cross trainer is popular with facilities looking to offer variety to their users. Train for strength, power, endurance, and cardio. The Cybex Arc Trainer offers wide incline and resistance ranges, meaning it’s basically 3 machines in one. At lower incline levels, the “glide” is like a cross-country skier. At intermediate levels, the motion is a “stride” (like an elliptical, but with proper positioning). At higher levels, the “climb” of a stair climber or climber. Glide, Stride, and Climb. There are also multiple programs that make the Arc Trainer a pleasure to use.
- Easy on the joints
- Dimensions: 76″ x 32″ x 62.5″ (LxWxH)
- Machine weight: 404 lbs
- Maximum user weight: 400 lbs
That’s what makes the Arc an Arc. The unique motion of the Reverse Arc, a patented advanced gait technology, never places the user’s toe behind the knee (when the toe moves behind the knee, the knee joint experiences much greater stress). The Reverse Arc’s motion moves the legs in a biomechanically correct trajectory – reducing stress on the knee while providing a full range of motion for the knee and hip.
LOAD DEPENDENT
The Arc is load-dependent, meaning the resistance is matched to the user's weight. Two people exercising, a 230-pound man and a 120-pound woman, get the same workout when they enter the same program levels and their own body weight. The perfect workout...and only Cybex has it.
REVERSE ARC MOVEMENT
That’s what makes the Arc an Arc. The unique motion of the Reverse Arc, a patented advanced gait technology, never places the user’s toe behind the knee (when the toe moves behind the knee, the knee joint experiences much greater stress). The Reverse Arc’s motion moves the legs in a biomechanically correct trajectory – reducing stress on the knee while providing a full range of motion for the knee and hip.
MUSCLE TARGETING
The wide range of resistance and incline makes the Arc Trainer unique. From the deconditioned to the professional athlete, it is suitable for everyone! With this wide range of incline and resistance, anyone using this product will notice that they have the ability to focus on specific muscle groups, whether at higher incline levels like a stepping motion to work the quads or at lower incline levels with increased resistance to firm up the glutes!
SLIDE, STRIDE AND CLIMB ZONES
The Arc offers three exercise zones for ultimate variety: The low position for the "Glide", the medium position for the "Stride" and the high position for the "Climb".
PROGRAMS
Quick start, manual, three weight loss programs, three cardio programs, two strength programs and a heart rate control program. Programs have 10 levels and control both incline and resistance.
